Performance models are usually better looking, faster and a bit more expensive than there standard counterparts. Performance divisions are often created to assist and development of their racing divisions. Some manufacturers will even evolve their performance divisions into standalone brands - for example, we've seen this happen with Volvo & Polestar and Seat & Cupra.
